Disability Services

People We Support

We support individuals from the ages of six, right through to adulthood. It is our belief that each individual regardless of their abilities can live a meaningful life, and we endeavour to support them to encompass their dreams and desires to empower them in reaching their full potential.

TerraGlen envisions that each service will be a ‘home away from home’ for our service users and that our services will be service user led in order for them to take ownership of their lives and future. We endeavour to meet the needs of the service users and their families by delivering a range of services that are unique, personal and professional.

Dedicated Care & Support

We have a bespoke staff team in each service, who provide 24/7 care and support.

Each service is staffed with qualified and trained Social Care Workers and Support Workers and overseen by highly skilled and qualified managers.

Respite & Residential Services

  • The aim of our service is to provide 24-hour care and to support the service users residing in their own homes.

  • To provide a ‘home away from home’, where enhancing the service user quality of life is paramount.

  • To advance the development and delivery of services to those whom we support through advocacy, research and education.

  • To support each individual in our care to reach their full potential.

  • To deliver exemplar, holistic care, within a dynamic culture of compassion, collaboration and excellence.

  • To promote and support family involvement.

  • Support access and integration into the community.

  • Provide support both day and night.

  • Equip the service user with the necessary skills to maximise independence and ensure safety.

Our Rose Model of Care

Our therapeutic approach to care in TerraGlen Disability Services is guided by Person Centred Therapy (Carl Rogers, 1951).

What is the Aim of the Rose Model of Care?

The Rose Model of Care allows staff to encompass the Person Centred Approach in an Individualised manner for each service user. It seeks to support the development and skills in each service user, thus enhancing their quality of life. Supporting service users to become self-reliant, independent and happy, allowing them to reach their full potential.
